Search Accounts by Stock

To search for account who hold specific stock within Prospector, follow these steps.
Click on the search dropdown on Prospector home page and select Accounts By Stock.
Enter a company stock or company name, use the autocomplete and hit enter on your keyboard to execute the search.
The list of accounts who held the stock as of the previous filing date displays in a list. It displays key information like account type, % of portfolio, shares held, shares changed, total value and filing source and last filing date. From here you can do several actions.
FILTER LIST TO FIND SPECIFIC HOLDERS
For example, you may want to filter for hedge funds with active orientation that increased positions that are in United States.
Click on the funnel icon and filter based on investor types, position activity, orientation, combined value, or region. If you are using Prospector on Salesforce, you can also filter based on your coverage.
Click on Excel icon to export the list.
SEARCH FOR MULTIPLE STOCKS
For example, you may want to search all holders based on the stocks from the morning meeting.
Go back to the Contacts by Account search, and enter your second company name or stock.
Repeat until you have searched them all.
The account list reason column and combined value displays the specific holdings and its combined value. Note that with multiple company searches, columns indicating shares changes are omitted.
CREATE LIST IN CLIENT CENTER FROM SEARCH RESULTS
For example, you may want to import the list in Client Center to do more prospecting like assigning covering professionals.
Select the checkboxes beside each account name and click Add to List.
Complete the new list creation form and then open Client Center to continue your workflows.
This feature is only available when using Prospector on Salesforce. Note that contacts must be linked first before you can create a list of them.
