INBOX

SEARCH IMPROVEMENTS

  1. Recently viewed records in Inbox are now grouped by object, consistent with the Global Search experience. This enhancement extends the Search “group by object” improvement introduced in the 2025.3 release to the Recently Viewed section for a more consistent and intuitive user experience.

  2. Additional search enhancements align Inbox search behavior with Client Center’s simplified search, creating a more consistent search experience across Tier1. New configuration options are available to allow administrators to configure search behavior in line with Client Center and provide users with a more unified and predictable way to find information across applications.

The configuration path is under: ACE.Inbox.GlobalSearch

Please consult with your Tier1 representative to discuss your implementation details for proper configuration.

LSEG CONTACT & ACCCOUNT INTEGRATION

Contacts and Accounts in Salesforce can now be updated directly from LSEG profiles, helping ensure CRM records stay current. This integration improves data accuracy and reduces manual maintenance by keeping client and account information synchronized with trusted external data sources.

ACCOUNTS CONTACTS TAB

The Account Contacts tab now allows users to apply text filtering to quickly locate contacts within an account.

To avoid user confusion (thinking a contact is missing), a new informational message is displayed to indicate that the returned results is limited (based on the configured record limit).

Furthermore, the tab now allows administrators to configure:

  • Record Limit - maximum number of contacts to show (default is 1000)

  • Sort order - which field to sort by, and whether to sort ascending vs descending

  • Contact Format - the html format to be used to display the info of each Contact

  • Additional where clause -  filter out specific contacts (i.e. inactive contacts)

  • Default Account Hierarchy View - account hierarchy view or single account view), enabling organizations to optimize the default display  to improve loading performance and streamline navigation of large contact lists.

The configuration path is under: ACE.Inbox.PageLayouts.Account.ContactsTab

ACCOUNTS RELATED TAB - ACCOUNT HIERARCHY DISPLAY

  • The hierarchy view has been updated to display a limited number of levels to maintain performance, prioritizing parent accounts first and then child accounts as space allows. This resolved an issue where very deep account hierarchies could cause display errors in the Related tab.

  • A warning message is now displayed in the Contacts tab when viewing contacts across the hierarchy to indicate that only contacts from a limited number of hierarchy levels are shown

  • Additionally, a new AFR configuration allows administrators to control the “View Full Hierarchy” link. This link opens the Salesforce Account Hierarchy page and can now be enabled or disabled depending on whether clients want users to access native Salesforce pages.

    • The configuration path is under: ACE.Inbox.PageLayouts.Account.RelatedTab.AccountHierarchy.ShowSalesforceButton : TRUE/FALSE

QUICK ADD CONTACT FROM ACCOUNT ACTIONS MENU

Users can now quickly create a new Contact directly from the Account Actions Menu in Inbox. When creating a contact from this location, the Account field is automatically populated with the current account, simplifying the contact creation process and reducing manual data entry.

This can be configured under: ACE.Inbox.PageLayouts.Account.ActionsMenu.Contact:CORE:Data = showQuickAddContact?accountId={Id}

IMPROVED VISIBILITY FOR ACTIONABLE FIELDS

The Inbox side panel has been enhanced to more clearly indicate actionable fields, such as contact name, account name, website, and email, making clickable items easier to identify without relying on hover states and improving overall usability when interacting with key client information.

DISABLED SMART ALERTS - SEND & QUICK LOG / MASS EMAILING UPDATES

Based on client feedback regarding the Microsoft Smart Alerts feature, Smart Alerts are now disabled by default for Inbox and Mass Emailing. As a result, the existing Send and Log (Quick Log from the Compose flow) functionality has been updated. Emails are now sent to an AFR-configured Salesforce mailbox, where they are automatically processed. This approach provides a more stable and predictable email logging workflow while ensuring consistent call report processing.

Note: Call reports will continue to be owned by the logged-in user, while the Created By field will reflect the configured Salesforce context user responsible for processing the email.

With Smart Alerts disabled, Mass Email can no longer automatically validate all sending requirements. To address this, this release introduces clear warning messages to guide users on required conditions (for example, the To: field cannot be modified and all required fields must be completed). In addition, the Log tab will turn red to visually alert users when required fields still need to be populated before sending.

MASS EMAIL RECEPIENT LIST ENHANCEMENTS

The Mass Email Recipient List now supports configurable columns and filtering capabilities. A new configuration option available under: ACE.Inbox.MassEmails.RecipientList.Columns

This allows administrators to tailor the recipient list view and helping users more efficiently manage and review large email recipient lists.

CLIENT CENTER

ACTIVITY MANAGER ENHANCEMENTS

We have made several enhancements to activity manager interactions tab based on client feedback.

  • Users can view ‘Created by’, ‘Created date’ and ‘Client attendee’ columns in the activity manager’s interactions tabs. These columns would be included in excel

    exports.

  • Users can now search for interactions records by the interactions creation date, within the interactions tab.

  • The client attendee column would be reflected in the Interactions cube and exportable to excel.

  • Users can view salesforce meetings and task interaction data consolidated within the interactions tab.

  •  Users can view columns for custom fields in the Aggregated call report cube and the Activity manager call report interaction records.

MASS EMAIL ENHANCEMENTS

New email metrics have been introduced to help users understand their audience engagement.

  • Email status: Users can view a warning of all invalid emails from their lists and fix emails in CRM.

  • Readership trends: Users can view recipient open and click trends such as Rarely, Sometimes, Usually, or No trend yet if the recipient has not been sent enough emails.

DEALS

To make the Inline edit view more intuitive and accessible for specific client user groups, the following enhancements have been made:

  • Users can now access deals across 'Deals grid', 'Product grid' and 'Group-by grid' to support critical workflows

  • Users can now view ungrouped deals within the product view by clicking on the 'product grid' option

  • User can now search for deals in the deal grid, product grid and group-by-grids by any field visible on the grid.

  • Several other UX refinements for a cleaner and more intuitive grid.

EVENTS - SELL SIDE

TIER1 EVENTS AND EVENTOGY INTEGRATION

The integration between Tier1 Events and Eventogy provides a scalable, unified platform for managing conferences and events. Event coordinators can generate and send invitations directly from CRM data, while event registrations and attendance details automatically sync back into Tier1. This seamless data flow ensures a single source of truth for client and event information, improving data accuracy and consistency. By capturing key conference metrics—such as invitations, registrations, and attendance—within the CRM, organizations gain better reporting and insights to support data-driven decisions and more targeted client engagement. In addition, call reports are automatically created upon conference completion to support consumption reporting and provide visibility into client participation.

This feature is available as a Pilot release in version 2026.1. Please contact your Tier1 representative to discuss implementation details and to be connected with Eventogy for conference management setup.

CLIENT FEEDBACK

Events has made several improvements based on client feedback:

  • Calendar Sync – Improved Email Formatting: Event date and time formatting in calendar emails has been updated to improve clarity and consistency. Event dates are now displayed without a timezone, while event times include the event city’s timezone (e.g., 12:00–1:00 PM EDT), making it easier for recipients to understand the exact timing of events across different locations.

  • Event Date Export Configuration: Users can now export the Event Date field from List View in a standard date format by updating the following configuration: ACE.AEM.Views.ListView.DefaultColumns.DateField.ExportOptions.IgnoreFormattingOnExport = FALSE

This enhancement ensures exported event dates are formatted as usable date values, improves compatibility with Excel and other reporting tools, and enables easier sorting, filtering, and analysis of event data in exported reports.

MOBILE

Users can now access LSEG ownership and profile views in mobile to view contact/account profile, link contact/account to CRM, view account contacts, view contact/account funds, view portfolio summary like top 10 holdings, top 5 buy-ins and sell-outs and download tearsheet.

ARCHITECTURE

ACCESSIBILITY

Tier1 strives for compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. As part of that commitment, the following improvements have been made.

  1. We've replaced old inputs with updated versions that support custom Aria to mitigate lack of label IDs and inputs without labels.

  2. Datagrid accessibility has been enhanced to allow keyboard access to custom renderers. Empty grids are no longer keyboard traps.

  3. We've improved how we manage focus within dialogs and other elements that can cause a user's focus to be lost.

  4. Tabindex's and Aria have been added to enhance keyboard and screen reader usability.

  5. Buttons, links, and other elements are now correctly identified so screen readers can announce them properly.
