INBOX
We have made several enhancements in Inbox based on pilot feedback. SS&C Tier1 Inbox is now generally available on the Microsoft store as of September 10, 2025.
CLIENT FEEDBACK
Account details view now includes a new contact tab to display up to 200 contacts from an account. If a contact is linked to multiple accounts, the tab can be configured to show indirect contacts, such as board members, auditors, or consultants.
Administrators can now configure multiple layouts for creating call reports, tasks, accounts, and contacts within the + menu. For example, your organization can have two task forms - one for follow-up tasks and another for cross-sell tasks, or two call report forms - one for quick logging and one for meeting logging.
Inbox's quick log now supports user-defined defaults and email notifications. Users can open the settings menu via the gear icon to choose their default values and notification preferences for quick logging emails and meetings.
Within the quick log settings, users can set default values for specific fields. For example, an organization might set "Private" as the default visibility, but a user on the public side of the wall can override that to "Public".
For notification settings, the quick log supports internal attendees, account coverage, contact coverage, favorites, teams, and notification lists. Users can enable one or more of these options. When they quick log, the call report email notification will be sent based on their preferences. For instance, if a user's default notification is set to "Account Coverage", "North America Sales Team", and "Management Notification List", the email notification will be sent to the account coverage team, all employees on the north america sales team, and all employees on the management notification list. By default, no options are selected.
Browser autofill is now disabled in Inbox global search to prevent conflicts between competing autocompletes.
The Inbox LSEG integration has been re-architected to support data feeds in future releases. No feature changes have been made in this release.
Inbox now supports custom email headers for the Inbox mass email option with Graph and SMTP.
CLIENT CENTER
GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS
As part of the Salesforce workflow rules and process builder retirement, the following process builders have been migrated to flows: Account Coverage Approval Submission and Contact Coverage Approval Submission. As of the 2025.3 release, all Tier1 product workflow rules and process builders have been migrated to flows.
We've made optimizations to the mass email by account and by contact views. In addition, Client Center now defaults to showing the last 7, 30, and 90 days for these two views.
DEALS
DEFAULT SAVED VIEWS
To ensure data consistency across teams in the inline edit view, admins can now assign a default saved view to team members. This serves as the landing page for users when they access the deals inline edit view.
Admins can assign default saved views to a team or line of business based on a specific field in the employee object.
For consistency and control, admins have the option to lock the view for users when assigning a default saved view.
NEW DIALOG FOR ADDING DEAL PRODUCTS
Users can now add products to a deal using a new dialog that only displays items matching the deal's record type. For example, when a user clicks the “Add Product” button for an ECM deal, the dialog will show only ECM products.
EVENTS - SELL SIDE
ZOOM INTEGRATION
Users can now create Zoom meeting links directly within Events. This integration streamlines the meeting scheduling process, allowing users to add meeting links directly from the Edit Meeting screen.
MOBILE
CLIENT FEEDBACK
Mobile call reports now support dependent picklists for the country and state fields. This is for organizations that require specific values for these fields instead of free-form text.
Mobile call reports now support custom error messages when certain employees are added. For example, if your organization does not allow employees on the private side of the wall to be added to call reports with public visibility, a custom error message can be configured to appear when such an employee is added. Users can then correct the data by removing the employee or changing the visibility to private.
The following filters are now sticky.
Account contacts cube filters: Tier1 Mobile will remember whether the user's last selection was "All" or "Coverage".
Account and contact call reports and recent activities cube filters: Tier1 Mobile will remember the user's last selection for these filters.
Call report related to deal filter: If additional filters are enabled, Tier1 Mobile will remember the user's last selection for the deal filter.
ARCHITECTURE
ACCESSIBILITY
Tier1 strives for compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. As part of that commitment, the following improvements have been made.
We've replaced old inputs with updated versions that support custom Aria to mitigate lack of label IDs and inputs without labels.
Datagrid accessibility has been enhanced to allow keyboard access to custom renderers. Empty grids are no longer keyboard traps.
We've improved how we manage focus within dialogs and other elements that can cause a user's focus to be lost.
Tabindex's and Aria have been added to enhance keyboard and screen reader usability.
Buttons, links, and other elements are now correctly identified so screen readers can announce them properly.
OTHER
In preparation for major updates to Prospector, Update Service, and to support multiple data feeds, several components have been included in the 2025.3 release of Prospector. No feature changes have been made in this release.
Cross-site scripting fixes have been implemented based on a penetration test report.
