View Account Related Data in Outlook

Prev Next

The Related tab provides a 360-degree view of your relationship with an account. It aggregates data into a single view, allowing you to review past interactions and prepare for upcoming ones.

  1. Navigate to the account view by clicking on an account’s name from a search result or from a matched email.

  2. Select the Related tab located in the account view.

The view is divided into several specific sections to organize your data:

  1. Upcoming and Overdue: Displays upcoming Tier1 Events, Salesforce tasks, and upcoming Salesforce Events synced from Outlook.

  2. Past Interactions: Displays call reports, past Tier1 Events, completed Salesforce tasks, past Salesforce Events synced from Outlook, and mass emails.

  3. Deals/Opportunities: Displays deals and opportunities associated with the account, as well as deals they were shown.

  4. Coverage: Displays coverage details for the account.

  5. Interests and Preferences: Lists the interests and preferences for all contacts associated with the account.

  6. Notes and Files: Aggregates account-specific files as well as Tier1 notes and files.

  7. List Membership: Displays the distribution or marketing lists the account belongs to.

  8. Account Hierarchy: Displays account hierarchy and an icon to indicate if the account has any coverage.

  9. Custom sections: Your organization may have additional sections unique to your firm’s workflows.

Because this tab may contain a large volume of data, it includes specific navigation features to help you find what you need.

  1. By default, each section displays the 5 most recent records. Click View More on a section to view up to 100 records.

  2. Upcoming and Overdue and Past Interactions sections have a view hierarchy checkbox. Check the box to view interactions for the selected account and all the accounts in its hierarchy.

  3. Hover over any specific record and click it to view the full details. It will open in Outlook directly or open a new browser tab.

  4. Use your mouse scroll wheel to quickly navigate up and down the list of sections.
