Tier1 for Outlook’s side panel shows contextual contact data based on the email or meeting you have open.
For example, if you open an email from your Inbox folder, the side panel loads contact details for all contacts in the To and Cc fields based on email matching so you can review open opportunities, upcoming meetings, or open tasks.
Another example, if you open a meeting in calendar view, the side panel loads the contact details for all contacts in the required or optional attendees list so you can review recent activities to prepare for your meeting.
In each workflow, you can
Choose which contact to view details if there are more than one matched email. If there is only one matched email this dropdown is not available.
In the contact card section, you can view basic information about the contact such as client tier, phone, email, address and last interaction date. You can also click the pencil icon to edit the contact or click on the cloud icon to open it on Salesforce or Tier1 profile page.
In the touchpoints section, you can click on the chevron icon to expand and view the summarized data. Click on the data row to open the record in Tier1 to view full details.
Contact Tier1 or your administrator if you need a field or more contact related data to be displayed in the side panel.
