Build a list of prospective buyers (or target lists for buy-side deals) to efficiently track prospective buyers/targets status for a post-mandate deal.
Buyers list tab is enabled as soon as the deal reaches post mandate stage.
ADD TARGET COMPANIES AND CONTACTS FROM PREVIOUS LISTS
Conveniently add target companies and contacts from comparable deals in the past. To create a buyer’s list using previous deals.
Click on the buyers list tab on deal details.
Click on the Copy from Deal to select from previous deal buyer lists.
Select one or multiple deals and then optionally add the contacts as well and then click add to target list.
Once added, you can then assign deal team members, update stage and notes as you discuss with the contacts.
ADD TARGET COMPANIES AND CONTACTS INDIVIDUALLY
Click on the add company search and search for the company you want to add. Click on the autocomplete result to add the account.
Once you have added the account, click on the account name.
On the right side panel, click on the qucik add and search for the contact you are meeting with. Click on the autocomplete result to add the contact.
Add any additional contacts and click update on the side panel. Once you are done adding accounts and contacts to the buyer list, save the deal.
ADD TARGET COMPANIES AND CONTACTS USING CLIENT CENTER
Once a deal is post-mandate, an account and contact list with the deal name will appear in Client Center. Use the drag & drop feature to add contacts or accounts into those lists. Adding the contact will automatically add the account to the buyer list.
ASSIGN TARGET COMPANIES TO DEAL TEAM MEMBERS
Use the inline edit grid capabilities to assign deal team members. You can also use the bulk update to assign multiple target companies to a banker.
Use the checkbox beside the target companies.
Click on the update assigned to, choose a banker like Steven Miller.
Click update to bulk update.
KEEP TARGET COMPANIES PROGRESS UP-TO-DATE
As you discuss the deal with target companies, you can inline update the stage, indication of interest, letter of intent or click on the account name to provide any call notes with next steps or passed reason.
