The Log Meeting feature allows you to capture calendar meetings from Outlook into the CRM. You can log upcoming meetings to provide visibility to your team or log completed meetings to capture notes and action items.
HOW TO LOG UPCOMING MEETINGS
Log upcoming meetings to increase visibility and collaboration across your firm using Activity Radar.
Open the meeting from your Outlook Calendar.
Click the Tier1 Inbox add-in in the toolbar. Outlook does not support pinning add-ins in meeting windows, so you must click this each time.
In the Log Meeting as Event section, click Quick Log or Log with Details. Note that if a colleague has already logged it, the button will display as Edit Event instead.
Quick Log Automatically saves the meeting as a Salesforce event with the subject, description, type, location, time, and matches attendees based on the emails in the required and optional attendee fields.
Log with Details Opens the event form with prepopulated values, allowing you to review or edit details before saving.
MEETING UPDATES
Logged events are not automatically synced. If meeting details change in Outlook, you must manually update the event record in CRM.
Open the meeting and the Tier1 Inbox add-in.
In the Log Meeting as Event section, click Edit Event and save your changes.
HOW TO ADD MEETING NOTES
Once a meeting is completed, use this workflow to add notes, action items, and notify your team.
Open the meeting and the Tier1 Inbox add-in.
In the Log Meeting as Call Report section, click Quick Log or Log with Details. Note that if a colleague has already logged it, the button will display as Edit Call Report instead.
Quick Log Automatically saves the meeting as call report with the subject, description, location, type, time, and matches attendees based on the emails in the required and optional attendee fields.
Log with Details Opens the call report form with prepopulated values. This allows you to add meeting notes, action items, and select the colleagues to notify and Save.
Your coverage team and colleagues will immediately receive a notification regarding your notes.
MEETING ATTACHMENTS AND INLINE IMAGES
When you log a meeting as an event or as a call report, both inline images and meeting attachments are automatically saved as attachments. These files are viewable when you view the event record in Salesforce or edit the call report in Outlook or access it via other Tier1 platforms.
