ADD NEW PRODUCT TO CATALOG

To add a new product or service your organization is selling, you must navigate to Saleforce Lightning and manage products. Permission to add or edit products is mainly configured for business admins.

  1. Go to Lightning Experience navigation.

  2. Click the arrow beside Products and click new Product.

  3. Populate the product name, category, description and additional details and save.

  4. Your users will now be able to add this products to their deals.

EDIT PRODUCTS IN CATALOG

To edit a product or service such as making it inactive, you must navigate to the Salesforce Lightning and manage products.

  1. Go to Lightning Experience navigation.

  2. Click on the Products tab and change the list view to All Products

  3. Edit the products by click on the context menu. Edit the product to be inactive instead of deleting the product; this will preserve your historic data.
